I studied law at the State University of Ghent (master’s degree in law). Afterwards I took a postgraduate course "Law & Economics" at the universities of Rotterdam, Ghent and Madrid (European Master in Law and Economics). I have been continuously active as a lawyer since the first of October, 1992.

I am mainly active in civil and criminal law. In the civil law area, I am highly specialized in family law, liabilities, legal matters concerning the building industry, insurance law, and traffic law. I am also particularly interested in judicial law.

I am furthermore proficient in all aspects of a lawyer’s work, from the drafting of advices and conclusions to the actual pleading.
